Nice, may keep an eye out for a set of those, the SI seats are nice nit they dont go farwards to let people in the back so fitting them both would be a bit stilly

I think just top hats, so long as they are from a Mk3.5 (which I think most, if not all Si's were).

If your Puma is a 97-98, you won't need top hats as you will already have them.

the puma runners were completely different from the mk3.5 runners i obtained, so cant see that the puma runners would fit a mk3.5 seat? might be wrong though

I have a 2000 car (Futura II, continental), with Leather Recaros and have bought (following some ill advice here) a couple of Recaros from a '92 Escort RS2000. I haven't installed them but have measured roughly the same height.

What car did you get your Recaros from and how much lower are they compared to whatever you had before (that is standards but from pre-99 or post-99?)? Whatever you felt or, better, measured.

wow alerno, this thread has been having quite a good sleep..

i assume you are not uk as I`m not familiar with the specs you mention.
seats are sometimes bolt in swaps,
but generally its a more complex fix. each one a bespoke solution,
some photos of your issues and a new thread will see plenty of support.

Hi all,

Sorry to open an old thread but...

Have recently got my first puma. Loving the car but seating position feels too high. Want to keep the interior standard as it's mint (38K miles :grin: ) but looking for a solution to try and lower the drivers seat further. It's a standard cloth interior and 51plate. Would mk3.5 rails help? Any other suggestions?

I'm only 5'9" tall but have already hit my head getting out!
