Replacement steering wheel. Comments?

Might be looking at importing one of these from the states

probably what ford was looking to go for in the first place then decided to cut costs and stick what alcantara they had left over on the wheels

Anyway comments? Think it'll go ok and what will i need for fitting etc?

You'd need the right boss and to consider the Airbag removal.

I like the standard design just because that's what I'm used to.

Yup i've considered the airbag removal. Going to find out how much my insurance will increase without one.

I was thinking about getting the original rewrapped but aparently Alcantara is a bad fabric to use if used with anything that will have contact with skin. Suede is apparently the better fabric to use on wheels or anything with skin contact.

looks ok on the picture... just can't help thinking it will look terrible in the car...and then you've done your money in and have to live it it.. :?

Alcantara will last a long time with a bit of care and attention...only really needs cleaning once or twice a year...
