Hi Guys and girls,
My name is Adam and am due to pick up my first Puma tonight after about 8 weeks of looking & can't wait, it feels like I am coming home.
In the past I have owned various fords including a MKIII Escort 1300L, MKI Escort Mexico fitted with RS200 running gear, Ford Orion 1.6L, Sierra Sapphire 1.8L & finally an RS Sapphire Cosworth with 46k on the clock (that my father now owns) that I sold to fund a property purchase. I have done a few arch repairs in the past on the Orion and 1.8L models so know what to expect of the marque but having had 10 years running european models, now want to own a Ford again.
Well my new vehicle is a 51 reg 1.7 in Medium Steel blue, 1 mature lady owner, 72k with fsh. The car has the usual blistering around one of the arches, one the sills but generally in good shape. I intend to doing a rolling resto on her including getting the arches professionally repaired. I am pretty sure these little beauties are going to become a future classic.
The MOT is due in November so wish me luck, but having a father who did his apprenticeship at Haynes really helps and with access to a mig welder to boot. It will probably become my best friend lol.
Thanks for dropping by.
