is perfectly legit too. My mum never used to mind me having mine in my bedroom when I was younger but they were usually in a thousand parts as I'd strip them down completely to clean them once in a while as it was warmer in the house than the garage. However, I can see some women not being to pleased about it.
I actually sprayed all the metal parts on one of my bikes in a spare bedroom - it stunk the top floor out but luckily no one slept on that level as it was a huge place & could be closed off to the lower floors.
