Seatbelt warning light

Right fitted Puma thunder seats in to a '99 puma.Was aware the plug under the seat was different and also the pretensioner.Car is due for an MOT soonish need to sort the flashing warning light.Pretensioners look different so cannot be swaped??.So is there a way I can fool the dash light or do I put old seats back in for MOT.

Swap the pretensioners over so you use the ones from your old seats fitted on to the leathers.
One torx bolt in the side of each one. It's possible to pull them through the plastic covering on the sides of the seats.

OK.so if I manage to fit the pretensioners to the leather seats will the dash light need resetting and if so what's the procededure,thanks.

The light should go out itself when you turn the ignition on/start engine. No reset should be needed.

This is exactly what I did when I swapped my old cloth seats for leather.
