Hi everyone! Puma has been on the road for a couple of weeks now and loving it. Spent last weekend replacing pretty much all front suspension and wishbone parts which has made the handling sharp and noise free.
However there is a loud ish vibration noise when accelerating in any gear from low revs coming from the left side of the dash, no actuall physical vibration and the care pulls really smoothly. It sounds like it could be coming from under the pass side wheel arch airbox area, am i right in thinking that there is a air hose under there that flows into the filter? It sounds like a noise thats triggered by the i take of air and its really annoying when accelerating from low revs, goes around 3000 rpm. Any ideas anyone? Something loose maybe?

Thanks for any help, neil.

Thanks, i will have a good root around tomorrow and see if i can work out what is making the noise but it's definitely in that area.

Well i have sorted this air intake vibration noise that ended up being so annoying i decided to spend an hour this afternoon sorting it. After removing the nearside arch carpet i had a look and rummage with the air hose and secondary box that sits in front of the wheel in the arch itself, basically the plastic box had come free from the rubber mount that it sits in and was rattling and vibrating against the under chassis, wheel arch area. Re-seating it in the rubber damping mount and tinkering with the hose so its free from the body work and hey presto no more vibrations when accelerating hard from low revs.

Im glad it was a simple fix! :) Thought i would post just in case anyone else has this, but it's turned out so simple i suppose it's already been fixed.
