As the title says which is better, I don't have the budget for r888s so want something that will stick on the track and be OK on the road. I have looked at part worn R888s but still expensive and won't last that long.

Parada spec 2's are awesome in the dry but not so great in the wet.
T1R's are a good all rounder however I don't think they're being made anymore.. They've brought out a replacement but the name escapes me.. maybe someone else remembers?

T1 Sport - I've 4 on the MPS. Pretty damn good they are too.

Can still get T1Rs through demon tweeks, I have read that the paradas are used in a few race series so thought that they might be better?

I got these to replace my T1Rs, they were about the same price:

They feel similar to drive with, but better grip (mostly in the wet), and much quieter. So I'd recommend them over T1Rs. I don't know about the Paradas.

Px4 (or proxes4) are a cheaper alternative to the t1s and have been around for years. The t1s then got changed for the t1r and now the t1 sport.
There's also a r1r which is a more dedicated track tyre but a bit more costly.

PX4 > http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Toyo/Proxes-4.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
T1-S> http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Toyo/T1S.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
T1-R> http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Toyo/T1R.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
T1-Sport> http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Toyo/Proxes-T1-Sport.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
R1R> http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Toyo/R1R.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But if you're after 195/50/15, you can't really do better than the T1-R which you can still get dirt cheap - £145 for all 4 delivered: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195-50-15-TOYO-PXT1-R-82V-1955015-195-50-15-4-X-CAR-TYRES-/171060118644?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item27d3fa4474" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; so £36ish each.

£53 fitted on blackcircles.

Neither. Uniroyal Rainsport2 (£33 Camskill) if your budget is low, or Goodyear EfficentGrip Performance (£58 each fitted) if you can afford it. I shod my Puma all round with the Goodyears and the grip in wet and dry is astounding, together with the fact they are vastly quieter than any tyre I've tried they get a massive thumbs up from me.

T1-Sport on my RX8. Wasn't sure about them when I first got them fitted but me getting more used to the car has shown these tyres are as good as the T1R's I had on the Puma but are much better in the wet and infinately better than the standard fit which are praised by diehard RX8 fans. They have no idea :lol:

I've just bought 4 uniroyal rain sport 2 from camskill for about 32 each. Totally transformed the handling. I had t1r's on my ep3 civic type r and I didn't think they were great in the wet. For me the rain sports are better!

Well I bit the bullet and ordered the Yoko's, been on the car now a few days and now I got used to them I love them. But I have to admit there not fantastic in the wet but better than what I had and superb in the dry :grin:
