Temp not showing on dash after ECU change

I have just changed my ECU from a DIVE to a TAPE.

Have taken the car for a drive out and the temp gage on the dash does not show cars temp.
The needle moves to the outer edge of cold block when starting the car and when driving moves a little into the cold block but not by much.

The car drives a little better with the TAPE ECU and better exhaust note.
Now I am worried the i mite over heat the engine or other problems with it.

It's a 51 plate puma

Can anyone help or shead some light on the problem

swap pins 75 and 80 on ECU plug IIRC

I bit filldly to do but now sorted and a working temp gage
