throttle response on start up problem

hi fairly new to puma ownership the last week or so when i start the car it pulls away fine. drives fine but once in a while if u boot it the throttle response is terrible.if u take your foot off the pedal and put it back on it works normally. this only happens when the car is first started.

Try letting the car warm up for a few minutes before you drive it, you may have a temp sensor playing up
