Thunder insurance group

So I was bored at work (what a shock) and having a gander at the insurance groups of various cars and I discovered that the base 1.7, Black and Millenium models are group 25 but the Thunder is 23.

Does anybody know the reason for this?

I think you've used something with incorrect data, GoCompare shows 27 for Thunder and Black and 25 for standard?

Hmmm strange. I was on Parkers and that's always been reliable. Maybe it's old data and they've changed.
