My Pipercross panel filter is 8 years old and definitely been washed and dried a few too many times to be working its best so time for a new one.

Question is do I go for another foam pipercross? Try another material? or dare I say it try out a cone filter with front air feed?

I could do with the type which doesn't need oiling (as that can mess with the MAF) but its confusing which actually do and which don't?

I liked my ITG panel filter but I do recall that needed oiling.

I do remember reading something though about paper filters being just as good providing they're looked after etc.

I don't know much about panel filters but if I was you I'd stick to the original airbox. My FRP came with a cone filter and when I had the original airbox put back on it certain feels a lot more responsive

That's generous Aaron or you just buttering me up as you wana check out the southend car scene and want somewhere too crash :-D
