hi, i have a 1.6 puma with arrowspeed tyres all round at the moment

I run 29 at the front and 28 at the rear

when i drive at motorway speeds the car feels like it wonders all over the road and I have to keep correcting the steering to keep it in a straight line

any ideas? I do have a knocking noise from the front passenger side but passed mot ok

what tyre presures do you run and any idea what my car feels unsafe at speed, its also had a hell of a lot welding done and its done 143k miles, the rear bushes have also been done

Those tyre pressures shouldn`t give you those sort of issues.
If I were you, I`d remove your front wheels and inspect the bushes, drop links, ball joints and track rod ends.
Sounds like somethings gone sloppy (could be as old as the car)

Could be that you need a 4 wheel alignment done.

As for the MOT and suspension, if the MOT is a fair one there is always some allowance for free play in bushes etc but it should at least go down as an advisory.
Knocking noise could be drop link starting to fail
