weird noise

hi all.. not sure where to put this as i hope it's not urgent but it's really weird and annoying!!

flissy has started making a noise that is clattery, ricketty...occasionally a bit like rain on a caravan roof...like those things you used to put on pushbike wheels that make a flicketty noise...

as you can see, it's tricky to describe...i've done my best! it's hard to say where it's coming from...sometimes it seems behind me, sometimes all around but, more in the car itself than, say, the engine or the boot...but, i really cant tell.

any ideas??...it's not all the time...it's not constant in a journey (though it was yesterday, to and from work!)

i did recently and it seemed ok but i'll check it again and top her up a bit anyway...thanks for the suggestion...it really is the oddest noise...

Have a noise similar in the old clio, Turned out to be blower Fan bearing dried up.

ooh, that's interesting, mix2000...obviously it's when the blowers are on...keeping the windows clear and me warm!!! i'll turn it off next journey (once it's all clear) and see what happens.
