What is supposed to be here?

Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be here? Is it something my car doesnt have?
Because i doubt its supposed to be a piece of plastic with a hole in it but i may be wrong.

Looks like it used to have an aftermarket alarm perhaps as mine has a Clifford LED in that position.

Many people use that blanking plug (on a Puma it's a blank but on a Fiesta it's the front fog light switch, where fitted) to install an alarm LED....so it looks like your car may have had a 3rd party alarm fitted at some point (check underbonnet wiring foolery).

PS: you've got a blanking plug missing by your air vents, usually covers that screw. I think Jacko is selling these...

I'd use it for a push button start If I knew how and had the ability to do it lol.
