Window and dash problem!!!

Hey Guys & Girls

Im having a problem whenever i push the button for the heated rear window an onboard dash light comes on saying there is a door open plus when i press my window up and down button the glowing light goes off and the same onboard dash light comes on saying there is a door open so my windows will not open?? any ideas peeps

check the GROUND connections in A-pillar,probably corroded or bad connection

ok nice one car killer, do you no anything about a car over revs when gear changing???

Chances are it'll be the throttle position sensor (TPS).

is it an easy and cheap fix neil?

A search for 'Throttle Position Sensor' should help you - there's been numerous topics about it. It might also be worth looking at the idle control valve too. Both are pretty easy fixes.
