Wiring under front seats??

Im sure this has been asked before so apologies, but what is the wiring under the drivers & passenger seats for. Big yellow block with blue & brown wire one side going into multi colour the other.
I popped off the 2 plastic covers next to the seats ready to change the seats & found them.

This is for your seat pretensioner. This needs to be plugged in, otherwise you will have a flashing airbag icon on your dash.

Im going to be removing the seats at the weekend so is there anyway to bypass the sensor to stop it flashing?

Alternatively you are looking at getting an auto electrician to do the job (as its now an MOT fail).
