There was an article on it on AROnline a few days ago but I can't find it now.

Loving the thread just read it from the start. Although the rx8's are stunning looking cars ive driven the 231bhp version n after the v8's and v12's you've been thinking about the lack of torque would make you frustrated. When you rev them hard there a hell of a lot of fun, but day to day driving can become tiresome.

Early start in the morning as I've just been to one of my favourite places in the world - tha car auctions - to see this.
Have put off/cancelled the viewing of the red RX8 I spotted on Ebay as I have to see how much this goes for and possibly have a dabble myself. Deposit at the ready just in case ;)

Excuse my ugly mug reflecting in the windows....lol.

Haha, that's my biggest concern but I've already planned my cleaning regime if I get it. Visit the local immigrants at least weekly.....pmsl.

Nah, think a snow foam lance will need to be ordered and lots of Demon shine to rinse with so it dries quicker. Then finally clear out the shit in the garage so it can be safe and sound in there - and I can sit in it and polish it all the time away from prying eyes without looking like a sad old git going through a mid-life crisis....lol.

I have a budget for what I am willing to pay for it, one pound over and I walk away as I know how easily it is to get carried away.

Forgot to say, there was a 51 reg Thunder there too, leather, parking sensors etc in that nice dark grey colour. A few little bubbles on the arches but looked quite nice. If the RX8 is a no go I may console myself with that....lol.

OMG it might mean you might have to work a couple of weeks extra during the year just to keep it clean and shinny, shouldnt this thread be yips 2nd mid life crisis lol :p

No more working needed as I'll try and convince myself that cleaning a car is not a chore but a pleasure....FFS, how do I do that!!!....lol.

Actually might have to work to pay for petrol, can't remember the exact date that I last did any. :?

The facelift versions definitely look a lot better.
Totally agree, think it's worth paying the extra, along with the engines being better amongst other things. There is three of the older ones there as well....no contest.

Cheers, no luck needed, just sensible bidders but I'm just hoping there's no numpties there bidding like idiots. We'll see :|

Sod it, who cares about torque, that car looks stunning. Its a very manly looking beast. And if you go on track days then this thing would be a weapon
