'99 1.7 Black Puma - Progress - NOW FOR SALE

Its with genuine sadness and a heavy heart that I'm selling my Puma. :-( Work commitments (much more milage) means that a 1.7 Puma just isn't a financially viable option. MOT due mid September, literally taxed it - so just over 6 months left. Price? I'm not sure.. Will get photos up next...

    Ford Fair Prep and tyres,

Uniroyal Rainsport 3's get my recommendation. Great for all weather and generally available for about £35 a corner.

What car have you been obsessing about today?

I suppose the Puma probably feels quicker? And presumably the Puma is better in the bends?

Yeah, got lucky. Local breaker had a Puma, went to have a look. Got both full headlights and some centre caps for my propellers (better condition) for £50.. Reasonable?

Just as a note - is the ST170 Focus the same to 60 as a Puma 1.7?

So - 6 weeks on and nothing further to report. Reliable, fun and nice and clean. Happy as I could be with it.

    FRP Tyres

Thumbs up for Rainsport 3's here - had two on the front of my 1.7 for a few months.

    Hello from Lancashire

Removal of the spare tyre and carrrier and holder should say you about 15kg or so? But that's off the back end - dont really want any more persuasion to lose the backend in the wet..

    The £650 Puma

As I've read quite a few times on this forum.. Ford did pretty well with than standard setup on the Puma - to fix something that's not broken (at the cost of considerable money) seems a waste.
