thanks a lot mate, i'm kinda torn between getting the £88 Sachs and the £59 pound one from ford, i think i may go with ford and just get the slave cylinder from there too.
from eurocarparts it works out £128 total but from fordpartsuk it works out £115 total.

Hey all, i have a 1.4 puma, year is 99.
my clutch has started slipping in 3rd and 4th gear and i'm looking for recomendations.
is a transmech clutch bad? i seen this ...
i had light problem and it turned out that the latch the bonnet clips into was bent.
Try getting someone to press down on the bonnet and watch the light to see if it goes out.
All i done to fix it was push the latch down a little and bent it back into place, don't push too hard though like i...

haha my mum was a micra driver, a slow one. Till somoeone came round the corner and rammed it when it was parked!
makes me laugh coz now shes a slow fiesta driver lol.

Edit : i just took out the clutch switch and it looks ok, although it doesnt fit very securely is this normal?

Hey all, i have problem with the revs on my puma, when i'm driving along and put my foot on the clutch to change gear the revs sky rocket really high till i'm in the next gear and let the clutch up.
The car also idles at around 1500, which i think is way too high.
twice i have reset the ecu...
this is happening to me too!
my key fob got wet and it wont work the car ever since, i took it to the Ford Garage and the mechanic said he thinks its a prob with the alarm, i ended up just disconnecting the alarm.
It's under the carpet in the drivers footwell next to the door (top plug).
