Thanks for your help! Yeah i dont know how the hell they put the nuts on so tight The allen key is off a toolkit for bikes, only comes milimetres so 6mm, 7mm, 8mm... So can i take the calipers off with just the right allen key?

A couple of days ago I have attempted to change the front brake pads and discs myself. I have all the tools you normally require to do the job (7mm allen key + 13mm wrench). When I tried taking the caliper off, the allen key was slipping and so was the wrench. Looks like I have the wrong size...

@paulob1 dont know if a turbo kit in a 1.4 is a good idea :!: and im abit confused, are you suggesting high revs will give you more horsepower? @slayllian Did you buy the whole kit in one? Or did you just have a shielded cone stuck at the end of the MAF and a cold airfeed from the bumper?

So basically as long as the allignment looks fine from the outside it will pass? I have been told by a mechanic that specialises in chassis repairs that its a write off instead of getting it fixed :S but the damage doesnt look bad at all!

@scofield.1 Yeah it sits over the bottom of the old airbox, but I havent considered adding a hose for cold air, I thought thats what it is designed to do anyway? What type of hose did you use & where did you get it from? It definitely sounds like a neat solution!

Ahh i sorted it, Basically I put the air filter straight on the tube which is wrong, it should go via the MAF sensor into the tube and has to be fitted tightly with no gaps, sounds amazing now and i think i can feel some better performance in higher revs :)
