Its the gear box, taken it off at work (work in a garage now) and stripped the gearbox and one of the bearings has had it, cheers though. Just need a box now

Got a ticking clunking noise coming from inside the gearbox faster i go, faster the noise is Ive taken the wheels off and worked inwards from the hubs and narrowed it down to either the gear box or where the driveshafts go into the box Any ideas what the likely candidate is?? Its one or the other

like jacko said Double check that its the rack thats damaged and not just the arms or track rod The likely hood is you have just bent a steering arm and the rack is fine, Both the track rods and steering arms are easily changed at a fraction of the cost of a steering rack Garage trying to...

I got mine from essex racing and the shocks are ford. Ive had no trouble at all with them. I couldnt justify the ford springs, as the cost nearly double, and are effectivley just a spring. But thats just my oppinion. On reflection i wish id spent that little bit more and got a set of adjustables

When you leave a car for a certain amount of time, rust builds up and will take a few miles to rub off I love it when you take the rear drums off, its like black snow lol

Just springs and shocks, they do the job. I didn't intend on getting shocks but MOT forced me lol but have to admit it was worth it, like driving a new car
