I did enquire about the RS FRP last time I was there. Tempting...

how much did they tell you it was up for just to compare prices?

he said it was £8000 to me

I think 8k is a good price if it's in good condition as planting an RS engine in takes some time and effort!
Stats of this car against Warrens car were published in a 'Cat Fight' article which also included various Turbo and Standard Pumas

Looks like you had a good experience compared to some;

i think being from birmingham helped me alot being able to crack a joke with them and pester them about usefull info to do with the puma

it was more like a youth club down there with all the messing around ,chatting and practical jokes no wonder nothing gets done and time keeping isnt their speciality

at the end of the day they know their good at what they do so you can either wait or go some where else

When i went down with my dad to the Focus ST meet on the rolling road it was fun just to see so many beautiful engineered cars, but the feedback ive seen from pumabuild hasnt been the best, and the rolling road fan wasnt good at all it was showing people with wolf wr300 kicking out 240 bhp when they should be 300 and some standard cars beating it so it wasnt the best impression but you just walk into places like that and wish they was on every street corner. sorry for off topic, my brother wants a 300mm brake conversition on his puma soon how much did it cost in total.

Cost me £91 iirc for the full kit but I bought quite a few setups so got the calipers and discs cheap.

You can get the calipers for around £50 a pair or less off Ebay. Pity you didn't ask earlier as I have spare sets of mintex pads and was in Lancashire yesterday...doh!! Anyway they were £14 off Ebay too or were when I bought them. As for the ST170 discs, if you shop around and play a couple of suppliers off against each other I would have thought you'd get a pair for around £40. You need 4 new caliper bolts at about £6 ish (I put the finis number in a thread only the other day - think it was an upgrade thread so should be easy to find)

So a total of around £110 or thereabouts. Easy to fit if you have a little mechanical knowledge.

focus ST170 drilled and grooved brake disks cost me £60,mintex brake pads cost me £10 and a pair of mk3 mondeo calliper cost me £25 plus £120 for pumabuild to fit them(but its just a matter of drilling the calliper mount holes to 12.5mm)...get 300mm brake setup you wont be dissappointed
