Just wish it was ceaper to buy, if you compare it with the cruise controll,

You can get a new audiosystem with remote controll for the wheel
for that:)

But I like the audio system I have so I wanna keep it, just gonna wait and see find one kit on sale on ebay.

Just visit a scrap yard, any Mk3 Mondeo, with the same style stereo as your Puma (01-03) will have the right bits.

Yes, so any Mk3 Mondeo from 2001 to 2003 should have the right bits. All Puma's are pretty much the same stereo-wise.

I bought my first ford puma on monday this week :) I am a proud owner. The majour problems "parts" was been changed from the early owners.
Something I am very pleast for, have read the payment check taking on the car it wasnt cheap. heeh
Well I wanna pimp my ride with some gadget.
I will be lokking for does parts you said.

I am very impressed by the job you done with your car, I read the thread you had. NICE. gonna ad some of that light you had.

You using a switch like this??
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audiovox-Rostra-Dash-Mount-Cruise-Control-Switch-NEW_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5187f98ea8QQitemZ350173630120QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I could work out how to do it, and get the connections from the column to the wheel, then it would be a distinct possibility!

Do I need to buy other things besides the set?
I bought the cruise controll sett from amazon, Some weeks ago.

Only other things I used were some electrical consumables and a range of cable to extend the wiring.

Have some extra car wire I can use.
I am not sure witch manual I shall use ,since I didnt found the ford puma in the manual.
the magnet speed sensor included with the ccs 100 did you use that?

I tried using the cars VSS, but had difficulties getting a good connection, so I used the tacho feed instead. I have since improved the connection to the VSS wire, but haven't altered the settings on the unit yet to work from VSS rather than tacho.

Okay, probably use the magnet speed sensor for now ,

Gatta say I didnt like the manual I wish it was simpler to read, I just dont know where to start, your picture will help a lot thought.
What manual did you use in the package?
There is so many diffrent ford to choose but not sure what is must similar to the ford puma.

Ignore the Ford manual, also junk the magnet thing. Just take the ignition switched +12v, tacho and illumination feeds from the back of the cluster (and VSS if you like), and the brake light feed from the switch at the top of the pedal, earth from the mounting bolt, and I think that is it?

The manual will also tell you not to take the vacuum from the brake servo, and that you need the dodgy ball link thing on the throttle cable, but ignore it. I spoke with the cruise control specialists in the West Mids (can't recall the name off the top of my head) and they said to take the vac from the brake servo.

mm thanks again,

I think I need to study a little more about the car, I am not a good mechanic. I work as an electrician as my living, :)
I'm afraid I'm going to do something wrong with the car. Attaching the wrong place ..
I'm going to print out your pictures using the view that assembly, if you have more pictures so greatly appreciated it.
I think its gonna be great, just have to take it step by step,
hehe i am to used to the IKEA manual.

When I get chance, I will look at my instructions and see if I made any notes about which wire was which at the back of the cluster.
