They look huge under there, very nice move! love to see a whole side on shot of the car.

I've shrunk 2 inches!! :p

Couldn't resist 'tarting up' my new 15" track days wheels a bit just to tie it in with the rest of the theme on the car! & then test fitted a couple of them just to see what it'll look like.

Not had a chance to drive it yet as I've only got 3 tyres (one's punctured) although I am planning at some point to change them for some more sticky track biased ones. Although I'm sure they will make a big difference! & the one thing I really didn't realise is how much lighter the 15's are compared to the 17's. I weighted both & the 17's were 19kg each with the tyre & the 15 was only 12kg! That means I'm going to be saving almost 30kg in weight!

Looking nice.

I didn't think those 15s would look right, but I was wrong. Good choice!
It does look rather 'slammed' though.

Im so familiar with the multi spoke 17's on your car that it looks weird on 15's, like either the car grown or you've installed micro machine wheels  Front calipers look awesome up close to the wheels though

Cheers mate! I know what you mean though, I'm so used to the 17's filling the arches too! although I think the 15's give it a more purposeful feel, especially with the big brakes behind. & as they're also 7kg lighter per wheel I'm sure it'll be much better once out on track!

Yea defo, remember aswell that cut slicks are lighter than normal road tyres too :) mine weigh next to nothing compared to the rainsports if I had stick them on 1.2's or superleggas instead of props I'd be looking at under 10kgs each easy

Sounds good mate! My OZ SuperT's (which are a fairly light wheel anyway!) are 19kg each in 17's with the Paradas! So the new 15's which are only 12kg with a normal tyre will probably be even less than that with a track biased tyre!

How much does a normal tyre weigh?
Just bought two a048 for mine and they weigh 8kg a piece with 4mm of tread
Haven't put them on yet (need buy spare wheels to mount them on)

Hi, great cat you've got there! I'm wondering where you got the vinyl wrap for your Mondeo? I shelved my Puma project whilst working on an old XR2 for racing next year but coming back to it now and just finished painting the engine cover blue and now I really want some of that vinyl on it!

Kind regards,
Annie

Hello Annie, sorry only just seen this! The carbon vinyl wrap I normal get from eBay. Either the more expensive 3M stuff for the bigger bits (it also seems to last longer, or the cheaper stuff for the smaller bits, or the interior!

Couple of little updates from Ford fair!

Finally got round to fitting my new McGill Motorsport steering wheel which had been knocking about in the boot! (needed to sort out a boss kit) thanks to Erroll for the help!
