boot won't open

I can't get into my boot! Press the button at the back when its unlocked nothing happens, doesn't do anything if i try the key in the lock either. Could it be the actuator (although surely you should be able to open it with the key)? is there a release lever somewhere that at least means that i can get the boot open?

Hmm - tricky one to get the boot open as there isn't a manual over-ride. You may be able to get the parcel shelf pushed in from the back seat, then release the back seat latches to be able to get to the mechanism?
