Hello,
It's my nephew Joseph's Puma again.

Recently had the problem with the brake lights staying permanently on, then it went to them not coming on at all.

Fault traced to the switch under the brake pedal, which I repalced and all problems cured-at least, initially.

Now, there's a recurring problem with non operative brake lights.
I will readjust the switch posistion and all's well for a few weeks and they go again.

Had a look yesterday, and the Switch is working fine-however the black plastic ring that it slots in to is very worn and won't hold the Switch canister firmly-hence the intermittent problem.

Please could you suggest where I can buy Switch AND plastic ring in order to finally cure this problem.

Best wishes
John

Your best bet would be Ford to be honest. Might not be that dear.

Other than that, scrappies might be worth a go.

I can't imagine Ford would charge that much for that part?

If you try Ford let us know how you get on John.
