I'm doing a refurb on my old wishbones.... I've got the bushes out and the ball joints off.

I'm going to FloFlex the wishbones for pure ease of installation, which I will do myself:

Could I have an opinion on these ball joints:

Just read your thread!

Your car looks awesome and I hope you're health is back on track.

You offered a link for the suede material you used for your doors and passenger air bag cover, I would like to tae you up on that offer please. ^_^

You also mentioned following (mostly) a how to guide, is that on here or some place else or just on the internet in general?

Re my health I am going in on 3/10th (next weds) to have a neck disection to remove my lymph nodes as a precautionary measure, as one of them is currently up, should be 3-5 days in hospital then 2-3 weeks recovery (fingers crossed)
This is the guide for doing the front door trims (he removed the original foam/cloth and it looks like he used padding/wadding, I trimmed over the top of the original cloth, not sure if it is just the pics of his butthey look a little bit puffy in places and thin in others)

The front airbag cover just pops off with a bit of leverage (be carefull not to damage the dash if using flat bladed screw driver, I put masking tape on it before levering)

I have not had a chance to do the rear yet but this is a guide to taking the panels off, the rest should in theory be similar to the fronts.

Link for fabric i used, I ordered 1 meter and it should be enough to trim front rear and air bag

Had a bit of time to work on the speakerbox on wednesday, spent the day filling and sanding, then filling and sanding some more to get the facing sides/edges looking nice and neat (will post up some pics once it is finished) by the end of wednesday it was in primer (there are some small scratches etc that need a skim of finishing filler), I will be going back up to see dave on monday to get it in paint!

Sorry not been on here for some time, my health is now back on track and i am so far free of cancer!
Thank you everyone for your suport.
Back to the car, I Have had both Anti roll bar links replaced (thanks to my mate steve for his help with these), the horrid clanking sound is now gone! The oil has been changed about a month ago.
I also got the speaker box finished, its nice and shiney in panther black and the mtx sub sounds awsome!

The sad news is she has got too go, my wife has just got herself a mini cooper s, so i will be taking on the focus estate (we need a big car for holidays and carting the shoping and kids around) its her turn to have a fun little car!

If anyone is interested let me know, its a great little car and i want her to have a good caring home.

Shane
P.s can i still drop by if im no longer an owner lol

It was a sad day today :( project XTC has a new owner, I hope that she will join the forum and that the car will bring her as much joy as it has me.
I hope to stop by as often as I can you guys and girls have been a great source of info and help.

by the way if any one wants a panther black speaker sub box, mine is all shinny and pretty and currently sat in my conservatory (it did not sell with the car), it has an MTX sub fitted and has been sprayed panther black.
If your interested drop me a message with an offer, it will be going on ebay if not but want to offer it to a project puma brother or sister first.

Kindest regards and Christmas wishes shane and family

p.s just used touch up kit to sort the chip in the paint.

Sorry to hear you had to get rid of the Puma but I guess all good things come to an end.

You should definitely drop by from time to time - I think actual Puma owners are in the minority on here these days!

Merry Christmas!
