ok so i was looking for jump leads on ebay and noticed these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EASY-START-ENGINE-STARTER-12V-SOCKET-NO-JUMP-LEADS-/230566075880?pt=UK_Recovery_Tools&hash=item35aecf1de8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

after buying it, i noticed the advert could be miss leading. my battery is flat. havent used my cr in over a month due to problems with my stupid immobilizer. do you think these will work?

any advise would be great thanks!

Those items may charge a battery but doubt if they will double as "jump" leads as will not carry enough current.

Jump leads are not expensive and very useful items to have in the boot

I have one of these. (actually sat in utility room now charging back up as I used it on the old dears car the other day)

Quite suprised I found one on Ebay as I've had mine for a veeeery long time (gotta be 10+ years). It has come to my aid on countless occasions when a friend/family member or I needed to get going pronto.

Now I have also one of the items below which was originally for my motorbike but is now continuously plugged into the RX8 when it's sat in the garage as it keeps it topped up. Bit more expensive than the above but it actually 'repaired' the battery on my motorbike which hadn't been started for close to 10 years and did the same for two car batteries which basically paid for itself 3 fold.
