car sluggish slow to take revs between 2 - 4 rpm .

Hi All, don't think this car has had much driving in the last few years . Car slow to rev between 2- 4 rpm , then wakens up after 4 rpm reached . Has anyone experienced this and would a Cataclean treatment help

Are the ICV and the throttle butterfly valve clean and moving freely?
Clutch sensor working correctly? What about the throttle cable?

Hi, I would start checking the fuel pressure, it has a Schrader valve close to the first injector, it has to be between 2,5-2,9 bar without vacuum at the regulator (taking out the vacuum tube). In my case I had a problem between those revs too but it was more like a one big hesitate and it was related with camshaft timing.
From what you explain it looks more like fuel pressure problem, if the car hasn't been driven much could be just the fuel filter.
