compatible enquiries 1.4 to 1.7 puma

hi i have got a ford puma 1.7 and just seen a write off ford puma 1.4 and am thinking about buying it but need to know a list of compatible parts they are;
is the susspension the same. As the 1.4 might be lighter?
will the complete wheel hubs be the same?
drive shafts?
brakes?
i know the wiring loom will be different but
will the starter motor be the same?
will the alternator be the same?

Suspension is same for all models.
Brakes will be same but size will depend on year as per other models.
The alternator will not fit a 1.7, it's mounting points are different.
Not sure about starter motor but I think there are 2 different types depending on year.

great thanks paul my puma is a v reg and the one i saw was a w reg so hopefully the wheel hub will be the same

I am almost certain that the 1.7 front shocks are different, if I remember correctly from a couple years ago when I changed them.
