Door locking issue

Hi folks,

I can't unlock my Puma from the drivers side, it locks fine but is doesn't unlock, I have to unlock from the passenger side. Any ideas??? I hope its a simple fix.

Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!

This one is quite a common fault..
It`s the lock which gets used the most and the barrel wears out.
Fiddly bloody job too...
Mine is the same, I just use the fob.

Its either seized or its had a replacement door and you've got someone else's lock.

I don't have a fob, well I have a key with 3 buttons but there is mechanism on the inside......... like so:

Can I buy a new mechanism and get it programmed? ( Sorry if this has been asked 1000 times before)

There's nothing to reprogram, just a battery as you will see in the picture above

I found one locally for €15 so its all good :grin:
