ELM 327 Bluetooth ....problem

hello today i recive my ELM327 bluetooth . I have 99' puma 1.7 and when conect the ELM to OBDII
and open an app in my Android HTC make some scans from protocols and then says "ECU error can not connect" anyone else with the same problem or the solution :grin: :grin: :grin:

I've not heard of this but then I use a cable with a laptop so it's quite different.

Yep my engine is runing i contact with the seller and he told me some of ford models dont work fine.

i have ELM too and works just fine,tested on many fords,what aplication do you use?? I use Torque,and works just fine,maybe problem in elm interface??

iv'e just bought one..it's no good on mine either.... the Torque software says that the ones off ebay don't work with fords and are rubbish quality..

or your OBD connector? Check connector for water damage..

I had the same issue with a EBay ELM327, I contacted the seller and he sent me a different version V1.5a and that works fine with my 2001 puma.

I just have the USB version though.

I tested yesterday this interface with my htc and puma and NOT WORK...

I have this one and it WORKS great,on lot of car manufacturers and android aplication TORQUE...
