Can you jet wash a Puma engine? I decided my engine bay was nasty (and there is an oil leak somewhere so a clean up will help me find the culprit) I took a sponge and some fairy liquid to it this morning and the top looks rather impressive now still a lot more to go thouogh.
Has anyone jet washed theirs before? help would be appreciated thanks

Always a danger of drowning the electrics which isn't a good idea. Keep at it with the sponge and possibly some spray on "Gunk" or something.

Yeah I have heard Gunk mentioned a few times now, I really need something that can get at all the bitty areas as I had an oil leak which got everywhere I'll try a jet wash but just be selective where I spray

Never jet-washed my Puma engine but have done on a previous car with no ill effect.

I sprayed a load of Gunk on first and then just gave it a quick blow over.

Just noticed your sig' as well. Alamingly similar to mine!

just get sum plastic butty bags and put round the elecs plugs etc gunk it up and away you spray its always bete if the engine is runing just there aint oh no it wont start moment
