Snow and cold weather. not going to bother, just let the dirt build up over the car as a protectiove layer for when the l;ay the salt down.

Then when its all gone, simply wash it off

In theroy it should work right?

I dont think dirt is very protective, i think you're getting it confused with wax

Let's have some new pictues - it says 'Winter 2010' in the title ;)

I know, but I have a dirty MINI picture which I'm about to post :p

As promised:

It actually doesn't look that dirty in the pictures, the beige (ahem, 'Sparkling Silver') disguises the mud quite well

Hang on...is there an actual beige Mini as well as that looks more grey silver to me...I always thought your mini was literally beige!

No, 'Metallic Beige' is the nickname it's earned - 'Sparkling Silver' is the name of the actual colour.
It depends on the light, in bright sunlight, it's got a green sort of tinge too.

Hang on a minute.... The OP complained that we were posting up old pictures of Pumas in a thread named "Filthy Pumas - Winter 2010" then proceeds to post pictures of a Mini?

:?:

:p

Jeez, there's no pleasing some people!

However, as I am Ninja, it is staying here :p
