Freebie for my daughter!!

Hi guys, thought you might like to see this.

This wee micra has sat exactly where it is pictured for over 7 years since the elderly owner passed on back in 2008 its last MOT ran out in June 2007.

Eventually got round to asking her daughter if she wanted it taking away (my girl is 17 soon and wants a car) and was surprised when I was told,"its yours take it"

Took me an hour and a large hammer to get it free to move (the handbrake had been applied) pumped the rather dodgy looking tyres up a bit, luckily they had held air for all that time, and towed it away (on the end of a large steel pole as I did not wish to risk the brakes.)

Gave it a good wash and its not bad under all the moss.

Interior is spotless and dry

Not yet running as fuel pump has stuck so no fuel getting through but here is the best bit, this is a 2 owner car with wait for it...........22,000 miles on the clock!!
Some rust to sort but hopefully it will be saveable

Fuel pump now removed from tank......knackered :-( only to be expected really like anything not moved for 7 years, fleabay next stop

And yes she would love a Puma but she is not getting mine :grin:
