Whilst replacing the front lower wishbones on my 1.7, I found that the front bolt hole for the offside bush was elongated by about 3mm. This was almost certainly caused by the bolt becoming loose in the past, although it was tight when I took it all apart.
I intend to weld a small plate over the hole, with a new hole in the correct position. To do this, I need an accurate dimension from the nearside bolt hole. Can anybody give me this dimension please?
