I'm currently compiling a list to do to make my puma last another year, and one of them is a new Throttle cable.

It is VERY loose, an inch or two of loose pedal before it 'bites', which I'm sure isn't doing it any good.

Does anyone know how easy they are to change, any tips and any ideas on price?

Don't mind having a go and doing a how-to once I get the parts.

Cheers

I've tried adjusting it, and didn't seem to get anywhere. I removed the metal clip, and the 2 halves of the cable barely moved at all. I'm talking about ALOT of play in the pedal, not just a smidge.

Will see if I get 5 minutes tomorrow and have a look at it again, need to un-seize the front drivers side brake caliper so it lasts another week until payday when I can replace it!
