Indicator Stalk

Hi folks, I've got a problem with the indicators on my Puma. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Whacking the stalk up and down a few times sometimes gets the lights flashing, but not always.

I just wondered if this was a common fault, and if there is a fix, or should I just get another stalk off Ebay? I was thinking of taking it off and spraying in some switch cleaner, but maybe I'm just wasting my time.

Cleaning it with switch cleaner can never hurt and is worth a try. If you decide to go for a new stalk, get in touch with Ian G on here as there are 2 different types of stalk and they are not interchangeable
