Hey! Time for another long Post!

First, some pictures of the interior (For Now!! You may get it in the end :twisted: ) and how the car stands.

Time to start the work!

- Oil Castrol Magnatec 5w30
- Bosch Oil Filter
- Bosch Fuel Filter
- Cabin Air Filter
- Aux. Belt
- Aux. Belt tensioner
- Splitfire Leads 8.8mm
- FloFlex Rear Bushes
- New tailgate struts
- Fresh Painted tailgate
- Oil pressure sensor
- Refurbished Starter

Took the glass out with sucess to keep it as spare.

The cabin air filter, was the original!

Before and After, installing the Splitfire Leads.

FloFlex Bushes on it.

The new fuel filter and Aux. Belt tensioner.

The Starter was Refurbished with genuine Bosch parts

My oil light was dead, changed the oil pressure sensor and, fixed.

Ready!

The spoiler went for painting as well but at this point, i dont know if i will fit him again.

Now its time to strip the interior. I have a new full interior to fit! Here is a Clue!

Already got the gaiters as well to match the new interior :grin:

Hello, some stuff been done here.

Interior:
-Strip the Interior
-Preservation of the floor
-Soundproofing thermal acoustic
-Clean the carpet and paint the seatbelts suport
-Fitted the whole Leather Recaro interior
-Fitted the Rare Leather Sport Steering Wheel
-New sunvisors
-New rear shock absorbers tops

Mechanic:
-Gates Cambelt
-Water Pump
-Termostat
-Crankshaft seal

Car had some problems, was overheating when climbing. Turns out, the water pump on the car was there since 1997 :?

The beginning:

Old stuff out.

Carpet out and ready to go in again.

Preparing the floor for the Preservation.

Placing the Soundproofing.

Carpet clean and back on.

Some stuff in place.

These contained some rust, lick of matt black paint and looking good.

The sun visors.

Rare Leather Sport Steering Wheel, needs to put the Dmb badge in place.

Recaro's fitted.

Cambelt time, All this with the help of a friend.

My boyfriend, "X liked this" :lol:

I took the sof carpet out because it was full of humidity. The soundproofing really works, now its more noiseless than before. Also, compared with my Boyfriend Puma (Xparty), mine is a lot more noiseless than his car.

Well, after this whole work on the car when i was going back home from work the car started to almost overheat again. My boyfriend told me to change the HCV so we went to Ford and i bought a new one. We got the Hcv new part number, i had the old one in my Puma.

After changing the HCV, its running very good, the temperature never pass of the middle now when is hot. :thumbs:

Little Status about my Puma:

- After replacing the HCV, the temp of the car is much better.
- The front was lowered a little more About the rear, one of the rear Height ajustment collars just got stuck so i will ordering a complete rear set of original collars and drop the rear.
- Will be doing a conversion from analoug to digital Cluster. We have everything to do the conversion just need a free time to do it, because this is my Daily Car.

Meanwhile, the Dmb badge was fitted on the Steering Wheel (Own the 1999/00 Airbag now)

I bought these as a Complete Set (Front, rear and steering wheel badge) at DMB Graphics http://www.dmb.uk.com. I think they dont sell these anymore, because Ford banned this company from sell it.

About the Side Skirts, they came on the car when i bought it. To me, these are the best side skirts for the Puma. If i am not wrong they were made by the company named Lester.

Fitted for once the Axe alloy wheels from my Boyfriend Puma on my car. Pretty happy how the car is looking now!

- New Oem rocker cover

- Used original VSS Sensor

Also:
- Digital Cluster conversion to do
- Change the Silver interior plastics to Black
- Oem Transit Connect side indicators
- Oem Fuel cut switch cover
- New genuine Puma mats
- New genuine Coin Holder
- New genuine clutch and brake pedal covers

The final result of the Cluster to be retrofitted. Looks pretty good to me! :grin:

As my cluster surround cracked and broke, i fitted one from a Fiesta. I think the black bits fits pretty good! So will be swaping the silver to black.

The cover fitted, looks tidy.

This Sparco pedals were fitted on the car when i bought, was planning on removing these asap but it took 3 years, because... lazy.. Lol

Fitted the side indicators.

To finish, She sits like this, pics before the new side indicators fitted.

Thanks. I went to my local ford dealer and i was told that the LHD Mats are no longer available. Funny thing my boyfriend have in his puma some RHD Mats and they fit. Not perfect but okay enough. Will post some pics later when put the mats on the car. They still in here:
