Hi everybody,
I'm Luca, I've 26 years old and one 1.7 Blue Melina!
I'm talking from Italy... and I'm sorry for my english, I need to improve it!
the 1.7 meline blue puma it's my second Puma, the first was one Moondust silver 1.4, but it had many broblem and i sell it for buy a new Opel Corsa 1.3 diesel (bad choice)
I've starting 3 months ago to prepare my new 1.7 for the "Formula Driver" car competition in my country.
It's a competition in industrial or city circuits,
i compete with other car from 1.6 to 2.0
when I've more time to descrive my experience I try to show my progress in this post!

I liked to work in my puma and I have created several things personally

hi! I have a question:
it's possible to remove te a/c pump in this mode?

it's an my idea but nobody in the italian forum can tell me an answer!

do you have some experience in this method?

all pulley rotate in the original right direction!

I know ScubaSteve did this using a Mk4 Fiesta 1.25 aux belt, but he also wanted to lose the PAS as well.

If you use the belt from a non AC Fiesta or Puma you should be ok
ok, if I find the right code for the non A/C belt, i can use the fiesta belt without other modifications?

tanks for your help!

Yes, if is possible!
because the competition is similar to a Gymkhana race!
it's a beautiful optional! ;)

hi everybody!
i've solved the problem whit the accesory belt,
i use a new 130,6 cm belt!
now i have removed the ac pulley and i conserved the power stereing pump!

IT WORKS!

i've a question:
now i have the car with 870kg weight, but the springs and the new hard suspension i've buy are too hight for the competition: now is in this situation: :-(

i want to lower it!!!!
but i can use only spings whit the same diameter!

i think to cut the spring for a lower total hight!

you have any other idea? my problem( isn't a problem for competition) is the less weight...
the sport spring is calibrated on the original weight and the final effect is a little bit tall car ... i try to cut the original springs and i remove 4 ring for a better result, but i want to lowered more!
