Hi people,

I'm proud to have just bought myself a 2000 reg 1.7 Puma in Moondust Silver. its got 87k on it but looks like its been well looked after and purrs nicely. Had the usual rusty wheel arches, but nothing a bit of elbow grease and a lick of paint didn't get rid of!

First jobs - lowering springs & Alloys! Any advice on springs?

Cheers, Jack.

Hi and welcome.

The rust will be back through in no time, but it looks good as a temporary repair.

Use the search facility at the top of the page, loads of past posts on springs and lowering.

Cheers

Damo

Ah thanks for the heads up, do you know if the Apex springs are any good? They're almost half the price of the Eibachs!

apex imho are usually reviewed as spring for looks and not performance they normally offer nice drops at the cost of handling with nearly every car forum i have been part of.
not yet heard a bad review on eibachs other than lack off drop they offer.
eibachs should do you good and not ruin the lovely characteristics of the puma :)
