Hi all,

Another one for you

I'm at some point going to get myself some Kent cams i think. I was wondering if anyone else has had experience swapping cams over? I'm most defintely going to get a blank set - will i need to get some oversized shims etc to get the clearances right? And does the VCT make things more difficult? Was probably going to get a set of vernier pulleys as well.

Any advice would be much appreciated

should be a straight change over,but you will need a remap to allow for the new cams tho as the timing of the valves is going to be diffrent to the original cams.

Ive changed the cams and you will need some sort of remapping to get it running perfect.

Yeah im consindering dreamscience or something, what did you use?

go for dreamscience but putit on there rolling road and get it set up properly,spoke to these guys at ford fair and they know what they are doing,it will be worth every penny spent on it.
