Hi Guys.
I recieved 2 new lambda sensors today from AP Motor Store (via ebay), and they seem to have supplied the wrong parts. I have 1 identical sensors with wrong plugs, as opposed to one short lead and one long lead. My question is:
If I start to get a major headache with the seller, or it costs to send it back etc, could I chop the plugs off my existing sensors and the new ones, and re-connect? (would be soldered and heatshrinked). I'm presuming it would be ok, but would appreciate the input of someone who knows.
Also, is the only difference between the manifold sensor and the cat sensor the length of the cable? I'll whip them out to look tonight, but I'm at work at the minute, so can't check!
Thanks.
