This might be a really stupid question but I'm thinking of putting some Xenon's in the front and according to the manual I need HB3's, which I can find, but there are loads of bulbs being advertised as H1's and H7's and saying they are compatible. Are they? Any other comments on Xenon's as I've not bothered with them before now.

I think you should go for HB3, seems to be the consensus on Puma's, I'm not sure what the HB rating refers to but I assume it's the connector type.

Also give this a quick read.

Probably better off just getting some Bosch 90% brighter bulbs, think they are under 40 quid for a pair, and they are more than enough brightness, in fact I think they are too bright and often blind other drivers but they are road legal so whatever I guess, no need for xenon fake HID's.

Just to inform you, HID conversions are not technically legal either on Pumas (or most other cars for that matter( as they weren't designed with HID in the first place.

I know they are quite strict on this in certain parts of the country (in London they don't really give a damn, there's hardly any motoring police round here anyway) but I know they stop people in other parts of the country and check over their lights and stuff and are a bit anal.
