Hi all!
I've got 2 problems with my Puma. Firstly about 3 months ago the remote central locking on my car gave up and I had to revert to using the key in the door. The drivers door wouldn't unlock the car but it would lock it. The passenger side does both fine. This worked Ok until recently, now if I unlock the car the alarm goes off, and I have to shut the door and unlock it again. every time, which is starting to get very embarrassing.
So my question is can the audible alarm be de activated? and is it worth me trying to reprogram the remote key?
Next thing is I've been offered a new door as my old one had a dent, but how easy is it to swap a door over? and will de activating my alarm make the job any easier?
Any help I would really really appreciate, as I need to give the guy who I'm buying the door from a decision by tomorrow!
