Righto, few small updates to post up.

Black Side Repeaters off eBay, nice and dark yet still shine the light through really well, can't grumble for £6!

Removed the plastic cam cover and cleaned all the crap off the metal rocker cover, soon as I find another metal one I'll whip it off for blasting / coating in Ford Racing Blue powder! :D

Generally de-greased as much as the bay as possible, need to hit it with some hose / cable dressing soon.

Also changed the spark plugs over whilst I had access to them, still need to drain the rad yet though.

Alloys are currently being blasted and I've got some black chrome power on it's way from America, I'll get some rear wheel spacers to put on at the same time as changing the wheels over.

That's all for now.

have you got a link for the side repeaters off ebay they look really good for £6

I've taken the plastic cover off to re-spray it at work and I've got a K&N Apollo filter fitted down underneath the battery!

Erm, this is what happens when you drive the car without one of the caliper spring pin / clip things in for a week...
Wore the pad right down in a matter of days and ended up grinding on the disc, the other side with the pin left in was fine, still changed it anyway though.

Shouldn't have got that bad in the first place but the brakes took a week to arrive and I had to use it to drive to work, dangerous I know :/

Just finished fitting and bleeding them though, all good as new now.
I'll strip them down again shortly and blast / coat the calipers and drums.

Resprayed the plastic rocker cover and replaced the bolts with stainless ones at last!

Fit nicely, I'll pick up some stainless washers during the week to finish it off. :)

Apologies for the naff pictures, just took them now (it's pitch black outside so having to use flash on my phone).

Between working crazy shift patterns and trying to get fit / geek up on my navy knowledge for my application, middle of the night seems to be the only time I get to do anything these days! :?

Wheels are lookin' something special now, I had them chemically stripped and blasted then coated in a funky powder I had left over from a previous job.

I'm just waiting to get some fresh rubber on them and then I'll get you some pictures! :p

Quick daylight shot of rocker cover, needs another clear coat and then a good buffing!

Also, trying to identify a mysterious clunking noise that only seems to happen when going over speed bumps.
Tried removing the spare wheel and checked the exhaust is nice and tight, nothing wrong there.
Starting to think it must be suspension related! :(

At least its not anything worse matey, ya coming to farmers arms this thursday?

Should be doing yeah, only working till lunch time as well! :D

I'll let you all diagnose the crazy problem with my engine! :(

Well, big end bearings are totally shot... if I don't find a new engine ASAP it'll have to be scrapped! :(
