Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone had pictures or a guide as too what has to be cut etc for the extra tyre clearance when you lower a puma, this is for our race car :)

Any help would be great

Thanks, Ryan

Sorry guys should have made myself more clear.

I meant the front arches i believe you need to cut and fold the lip out the way but wanted a little more knowledge on this :)

I've done this to mine as I've lowered it on 17" wheels you can see it on my Project Puma post My Puma 1.7 more than a year on (a works in progress)

Just to put it out there, neither of my pumas had to be modefyed at the front to accomedate either lowerimg, or bigger Wheels :/ might be a lhd thing :)

I'm sure Tickford did the work with hammer more then cutting on the FRP's. The bottom of the inner wings have been hit with a hammer to flatten them a bit.

I had 40mm lowering springs with the 17" wheels and without doing any work I only had about 50mm clearance to the inner wing flange and it was the sharp single skinned piece which would have totally shredded the front tyres.
