My First Road Trip Planned!!! Boy I'm Excited!!!

Well now i have my Puma, me and my mate have decided to go on a road trip accross england for 3 days!!!

Its across england from the midlands to north wales then through the black mountains, into south wales then back into england through the cotswolds and back to burton-on-trent

Its all been booked off work, as we are going in april!

We are leaving from Derby on a thursday into north wales and it goes on from there until we arrive back on saturday.

The rules are no motorways or duel carriagways.

The cars are... my 1.7 puma and my mates 1991 mx-5 1.6.

All the backroads are being used, bloody cant wait.

I will update the trip as we are doing a full diary and filming major parts of the trip, so keep listening to projectpuma as i will post updates.

yeah, we're taking pictures and filming the trip with a camera mounted on the dash, its a bit like a top gear challenge really. We've got walkie-talkies too... all we need now is captain slow

Sounds brill...I'm getting sooo excited for the 'ring' trip you wouldn't believe so know how you feel about a road trip.

I wouldn't think you'd need much to take with you as your still in Blighty wherever you are, as long as you don't have any mishap's. Maybe lots of clean skids, incase you fill them driving in the black mountains...lol

if you wanted to go mad then take the following;
spare throttle cable (have been known to snap)
hcv & thermostat
hi viz jacket & triangle
couple of bulbs & fuses

thats all i took when we did 2500 miles round france in a week, including the alps. didnt need any of it but nice to have it. reckon ul be fine as ur in uk tho
