quick question about airbag

Hey guys atm I'm having my upholstery redone and the battery is disconnected,
I want to know what will happen if I plug the battery back on with no seats in the front and the airbag still attached on the steering wheel.
It wouldn't blow up in my face would it?

Well, the last time I done it.. it was fine. The airbaglight just started flashing because the seats were not connected up. Then when I re-fitted them, I plugged them in, connected up the battery and it was fine.

I didn't explode on mine neither. When the seat is missing it should never blow up. The ECU will detect the seatbelt tensioner is missing which means an airbag will probably do more harm than good. It will block it and turn it off.
