Hello!

i am thinking of raising the rev limiter on my Puma. i do a bit of trackwork with it and sometimes i just need that little bit of revs more so that i don't have to shift or bounce on the limiter for 2-3 seconds.

Is it ok for a fully stock enigine to rev it till 7200rpm like an FRP? or are the valvesprings not up to the job?

As far as I'm aware it's the same components in the FRP engine except for the cams. Lots of people in the past have used the FRP map on a standard engine.
